Aspen Jensen

Aspen M. Jensen is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation and a graduate from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. Prior to joining Sumsion Business Law, Aspen worked for Paul Tsosie at Tsosie Law PLLC. Aspen is a part of the litigation team at Sumsion Business Law focusing on construction and contracts. Aspen grew up in American Fork, Utah and worked alongside her family as a third-generation stonemason business, Miller Stone. Thus, Aspen has a passion for contractors, subcontractors, and construction law litigation. Aspen also has a passion for Federal Indian Law especially in addressing infrastructure and economic development.

Specialties

Aspen specializes in Indian Law and received the Indian Law Certificate through ASU’s Indian Law Program and personally worked with tribal members and Tribes through ASU's Indian Law Clinic, summer externships, and classes. Her experience ranges through serving diverse tribal communities such as: Navajo Nation, Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, Pascua Yaqui Tribe, Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, Morongo Band of Mission Indians, the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas, the San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe, and the Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Reservation.

Professional Accomplishments

Aspen currently serves on the Board for the Urban Indian Center of Salt Lake.

Aspen serves as Secretary for the Indian Law Section of the Utah Bar.
